Crankshop isn’t a generic repair platform with a lawnmower icon. It’s built side-by-side with a handful of independent small engine shops, tested on their actual tickets, shipped only when it works on a phone with grease on it.
Our principles

If a common task takes more than three taps on a phone, we redesign it. Always.

Our north star is a 58-year-old shop owner who distrusts software. If it doesn’t make his Monday easier, it doesn’t ship.

US-based support, real humans, real phone number. Not a chat widget that escalates to an email five days later.
We stay in our lane.
We don’t build for auto, marine dealers, or phone kiosks. Small engine shops, period.
How we work
Partner shops, not beta testers.
Before a feature ships, it runs live at two or three partner shops for at least two weeks. We sit in the shop for intake rush, sit at the counter for pickup, and break our own product on purpose.
Partner shops get a founding-dealer discount for life and a direct line to our phone. We never publish names unless a shop asks us to.
